1934 Studebaker Dictator

It is said that Studebaker used the Dictator name from 1927 to 1937 to imply that this model would dictate the standard for other automakers to follow. Charles Adams of Signal Mountain, TN, set his own standard with the restoration of this 1934 Studebaker Dictator. When he acquired the four-door sedan it was in very poor condition and heavily damaged by rust. Over a five-year period -- with the help of friends -- Charles completely restored the interior and exterior of this beautiful show car. Under the hood a remanufactured drive train and a 1994 350 V8 / Chevy LT1 sustains this classic four-door sedan’s commanding presence.
